Each month, our LGBT Gaymer group on steam, Lets Be Gaymers Together holds a giveaway contest. Actually, we sometimes do several in a month, but lately we've been doing One or Two. For October, we will start the contest on October 1st and select our winner on October 31st. The winner will have the chance to pick from a list of game keys we have available. Since I will be using my blog to assist with these giveaways, I've decided to add extra chances to win for those who subscribe to my blog and comment on this topic.

We may select more than One Winner if we have a higher than expected turnout or if members are generous and decide to donate additional keys. We hope this will be a lot of fun, we encourage everyone to share this post with friends and fellow gamers who are supportive of the LGBT community, and we welcome everyone to join us for our Giveaway.
We will keep track of who completes the requirements, so for those of you who join and then leave the group, doing so will make you ineligible once it comes time to name a winner, just fyi. Winners must have completed the mandatory tasks to be eligible and records will verify if this is done.
This is to prevent people from deceptively trying to enter our giveaway and ensures that the winner is someone who supported us by completing the tasks.

Day Two of our October Lets Be Gaymers Together monthly game giveaway. We've already been solicited with members offering to submit more games toward the giveaway and we've had over 100 entries. For every Thousand entries we will add an additional Winner. We will still have a grand prize winner who will get to select 3 games of their choice instead of 1. So let your friends know, because the more who join us the better your odds of winning too. As a heads up, our steam group will be hosting an in-house giveaway on the steam group chatroom this weekend, Sunday at 4pm(EST) to celebrate achieving our 2000 member goal this month. We will be giving out game keys and having a lot of fun. We hope you will join us for the festivities. Good Luck
Day Four of our October Lets Be Gaymers Together game giveaway. WoW, the response has been overwhelming everyone, thank you so much for supporting Lets Be Gaymers Together. Over 60 keys have been donated so far for the giveaway list and several dozen more are being promised before the end of the month, so it should be exciting. We've also had around 150 entries into the giveaway so far, which is wonderful. You guys have been so terrific with your support. Don't forget, if we hit 1000 entries we will open up the contest to multiple winners and the grand prize winner will get to pick 3 games of their choice from our growing list. Maybe this week I'll post a partial list of the games to wet your appetites, but I want it to be a fun surprise for the winners. Day Eight of our Giveaway Event. We have seen membership steadily grow and almost 200 people have entered our free monthly game giveaway contest. I am working on adding more keys to the list of available games for our winners. There has even been talk of Fallout 4 being one of the games, yet I can confirm or deny nothing at this point. I hope you will continue to support us, continue inviting your friends so we can give out to even more winters on October 31st. Thank you so much for supporting us and helping us to grow a safe, fun, family friendly place for all LGBTQ members and our Straight allies as well. You are the best.
Day Sixteen of our Lets Be Gaymers Together Giveaway. I wish I had better news this time, but it seems like the giveaway entries has slowed significantly. We have a little over 200 entries and I had hoped we could push it past 1000 by the end of the month. With the month half over with, it doesn't look like we will make half that. We had intended to add additional winners if we were able to bring in more entries. I really thought since this giveaway was free and meant to promote a great group, Lets Be Gaymers Together, that more people would be interested in participating. Maybe things will turn around. I wish all of you who entered luck.
Day Twenty-Two, we are down to the last 9 days of the giveaway. Turnout hasn't really increased as much as we had hoped, which is strange considering the giveaway is free, so unless something changes and more people feel moved enough to want to enter for a chance to win the game of their choice, it looks like we will only have 1 winner instead of 3 winners. Here is a partial list of games, which will not include about 20 - 40 other titles, some of which are AAA Titled games. Those are a surprise for the winner to choose from. Doom has graciously offered to donate 20 or so games in addition, to spice up the giveaway and we are still accepting donations for anyone who has extra keys or wants to contribute. All keys donated are used for giveaways, and to place giveaway group advertisements on sites such as; Steam gifts and Steam Companion. This helps raise awareness of Lets Be Gaymers Together and encourages new members to join us.
So if you haven't done so already, remember to subscribe to this blog to stay updated on the latest giveaway news, as well as for informative articles that occasionally make their way to the published stage, let your friends know about the group, giveaway and everything and let's try and get more people involved so we can have more winners in the end. Day Twenty-Six of our Lets Be Gaymers Together giveaway. Only 4 days left to enter before we draw a winner. Some of you have expressed misgivings about having to sign up for Discord and Guildlaunch in order to be eligible; Therefore, I decided you know what... You are right. So, after reviewing the settings, those are no longer mandatory to enter; However, Joining Lets Be Gaymers Together is mandatory to be chosen as a winner for this contest, as we are the steam group hosting it. This seems like a fair and equitable trade. All other mandatory steps are now optional for the sake of earning additional entries. I hope this alleviates your concerns and encourages more of you to join us before the end of the month. We are down to the last few days and I would like to see more than just 1 winner. We have many, many more games added to our list now to giveaway and encourage each of you to invite your friends to our group and giveaway to share in the fun.
The monthly giveaway ends in 6 hours and we've only had 450 entries, despite having 2400 members. We had hoped for more turnout, but that's okay, there will still be a lucky winner and they are going to have a blast. I want to thank everyone who has already entered as well as those who have donated games for the giveaways, you all rock. For the rest of you, there is still time and we would love for you to have a chance at winning a game of your choice. Remember the more entries, the more winners we will select. If we hit 500 entries, I will select 2 winners, 750 will pick 3, and 1000 will pick 5 lucky winners. So it pays to enter because the more entries, the more winners.
